You may not be able to drive a vehicle, or be seated in the driver’s seat while the vehicle’s engine is running, if:
– You are under the influence of any drug.
– You have an alcohol concentration in your blood or breath greater than the legal limit for any PrDP drivers.
The occupational Health and Safety Act stipulates that a vehicle is classified as a workplace and that the employer must not permit anybody who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol to enter the workplace.
